-Basic rule: This is our home, please treat it the same way you would treat your home. -No shoes in house please. No digging in the front yard please. -Additional cleaning fee may be charged if the condition requires a deep clean. Generally, if you treat the house the same way you would treat your home, you will be totally fine. -Cover the hot tub and tune the temperature to 99 degree when not using - Removal of 2 bags of trash is included in the cleaning fee. If you need a trash pickup during your stay, please contact me. -Please checkout on time. So that the cleaning crew could have enough time to prepare for the next guest, just like they prepared for your stay. If you would like to check out later than 11am or extend your stay, please contact me a day before your checkout. Checking out later than 30 minutes after the agreed upon time will result in a fee of $100, later than 1 hour will result in a fee of $200. - Pets are not to be abandoned at the house for long periods and all pet damage will be applied to the security deposit. -The toilet is old. Please be gentle. Don't clog it please or we're both going to have a bad time because it can be difficult to get a plumber out to the countryside on short notice. Please put any sanitary napkins etc. into the trashcan next to the toilet. Please don't flush anything other than toilet paper. - Please clean up your empties and make sure to take all food with you when leaving the house aside from condiments or dry goods leaving food or personal property behind may result in an additional fee depending on how much is left. - We love pets! Please make sure they are well behaved and make sure to clean up and dispose of pet waste. Please ensure that your pet is on a leash at all times outside of the house. There are pest control measures in place. Please let us know that there are pets coming so we can move traps and other hazards from floors. Any pet waste found on or in property will result in an additional cleaning fee. - Please be respectful of the neighbors and keep outdoor music or noises to a minimum after 10:30 on weeknights and midnight on weekends - There is NO DISHWASHER and NO DISPOSAL. Please wash all dishes and leave out to dry in the drying rack or use disposable plates and cups. Unwashed dishes will result in an additional cleaning fee. -Smoking or evidence of smoking (of anything of any kind) inside the house will result in the forfeiture of your entire security deposit. Guests with asthma or other respiratory issues have a right to a clean, smoke free house. Smoking outside is fine, but please make sure to extinguish all butts completely and dispose of them. -The house has two fire places, but both are currently non-functional. Use of the fireplaces may cause the house to burn down and if you use them I will charge the entirety of the security deposit. -We are blessed to have a large number and diverse range of pollinators that live in the mountains. They are not on the property but obviously it is impossible to keep them out. They are mostly calm and non-aggressive. Please do not kill them or swat at them as this may prompt them to defend themselves aggressively. It's a long ride to the ER. If you are allergic to bees stings please make sure to bring your epipen. -Please turn off heat or air conditioning at check out. The last few guests have had the AC and heat on when they left. We are trying to be as sustainable as possible.
