Other Details to Note
😊 A Few Things to Know Before You Arrive: 🚗 Driveway Info The driveway is a bit steep and bumpy—just a heads-up! Please avoid bringing low-clearance sports cars. AWD/4x4 can be helpful in snowy or icy conditions, but not usually needed. 📶 WiFi & Cell Signal We’ve got Starlink WiFi and but cell signal can sometimes be spotty. But hey, you’re in Shenandoah, so feel free to unplug and soak up the nature! 🌲✨ 💧 Water Notice It’s a mountain thing—sometimes the tap water has a funny taste or smell. Totally safe, but feel free to bring your own drinking water if you're sensitive to it. 🍽️ Before You Go Please wash any used dishes by hand before check-out. We appreciate the help! 🙏 🐶 Bringing Your Pup? We love hosting furry friends! Just please clean up after them and help keep the yard nice for the next guest. 🔥 Fire Pit There’s a firepit for your use—but we don’t provide firewood (liability reasons). They’re easy to grab at a local store or gas station. 🛁 Hot Tub Tips Please cover the hot tub when not in use Please wiipe your feet before getting in—grit and pebbles can damage the system ⚠️ Just So You Know: The fireplaces are decorative only—please don’t try to light them The jets in the bathtub are not functional It's a remote escape cabin vibe, but we do have neighbors, you are alone in the mountain. Being in the mountains, you may see bugs like flies, mosquitoes, ants, etc.—we’ve got sprays if needed, but it’s part of the nature experience 🐜🌿 🚫 Important House Rules (No Exceptions): ✘ No smoking, vaping, or marijuana use—anywhere on the property ✘ Quiet hours are from 10PM to 7AM—let’s keep it peaceful for everyone ✘ Please check the full House Rules section for more info We’re so excited to host you at The Zen Garden and hope your stay is relaxing, fun, and memorable. 🌙 – Zen Living | Short Term Rental & Vacation Rental

Neighborhood
The neighborhood itself is quiet and secluded, providing a lot of quiet and seclusion. It is located just off the main road within the boundaries of George Washington Forest. It sits on a well maintained gravel road. 4x4 is not necessary during the summer but strongly advised in winter and early spring. Even during fantastic conditions, lowered cars or sports cars may encounter some difficulty with the hill. The neighbors are very friendly and will be glad to offer advice or chat and will certainly give you a wave on the way by.
